The Quran contains some fascinating numerical patterns. For example, ‘Paradise’ and ‘Hell’ are each repeated 77 times, ‘angels’ and ‘devils’ 88 times, ‘world’ and ‘Hereafter’ 115 times, ‘prayers’ (ṣalawāt) 5 times (the exact number of daily prayers), ‘punishment’ 117 times, whereas ‘forgiveness’ is repeated double that number, 234 times.
‘Day’ is repeated 365 times (the average number of days in the year), ‘days’ 30 times (the average number of days in the month), and ‘month’ 12 times (the number of months in the year).

Another miracle is that if you count the number of Arabic words in the story of the people of the cave (https://quran.com/18), it is the exact number of days that they slept in it (309 years). The story is told in exactly 309 words.

And to think of how the Qur’an was revealed, it is impossible to have come from a human being.
