There are two estimates on civilian deaths after the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, a “low” and “high” estimate. The “low” estimate is 40,000 dead in Nagasaki. Currently the death toll is over 34,000 and rising in Gaza and it’s likely an incomplete count. An unknown number still lay dead under rubble.

On Feb 2, 2024, al-Jazeera published a rolling list of names of over 11,500 children killed in Gaza.

Radical in the Israeli Government Calls for Usage of Nuclear WMDs

In October 2023, Israel’s Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu in a radio interview suggested dropping a nuclear bomb on Gaza as an option. He also objected to allowing any humanitarian aid into Gaza at all and stated that “there is no such thing as uninvolved civilians in Gaza.” He supports conquering and colonizing Gaza, massacring and deporting its entire population. He stated that Gaza has no right to exist, and that anyone waving a Palestinian flag “shouldn’t continue living on the face of the earth.” Apparently, he partially got what he wanted, with mostly American and German support and weaponry.
